Contrast Color Mobile Shelving

Contrast-colour manual mobile shelving — silver body with violet end panels in a glass-walled office

Contrast-Colour Manual

Colour is aspecification,not a sticker.

The same welded steel platform as the rest of the manual range — with body and front panels powder-coated in two masked colours. Pick a preset scheme or send a RAL; either way the coat is baked, not pasted.

Current scheme — Silver & Violet

Pick a scheme § 01

Two colours are standard.
Yours are welcome too.

Tap a scheme — the photo updates to a run we finished in that pairing. Every preset is a masked two-colour powder job from our own line: body and end panels in colour A, fronts and caps in colour B, baked at 180 °C in one cure.

Where it earns its keep § 02

Two-tone is a tool, not a default.

Spec it when

Contrast earns its keep

Showrooms, reception-adjacent archives, visible offices and any room where the shelving is part of the architecture. A two-tone bay reads as designed furniture, not back-room equipment — and a dark front against a light body hides fingerprint traffic at handle height.

Skip it when

Grey-white is the better buy

Pure storage basements, medical-records vaults and bulk archive runs. Light grey-white #E7E3DC is the cheapest, fastest finish, shows dust least in paper-heavy rooms and never goes out of spec across a multi-phase fit-out. Contrast costs nothing extra — but grey-white costs nothing in attention either.

What buyers say § 04

The colour they ordered is the colour that arrived.

★★★★★

“The painted sample matched our brand Pantone better than the paint on our own walls did. Approval took one email.”

Procurement lead · bank HQ fit-out, Southeast Asia

★★★★★

“Two years of daily service and there is no scratch line at handle height — the dark fronts hide everything.”

Archives supervisor · city records office, Middle East

★★★★★

“We ordered violet because the render said violet. The containers opened violet. That is the whole review.”

Fit-out contractor · corporate archive, Europe

Before you ask § 05

Straight answers, no sales haze.

Does the two-tone finish cost more than plain?
No. The bay runs the same powder line either way — the second colour is a masking step, not a different process. A preset two-tone scheme prices the same as a single-colour bay.
Can you match our brand colour exactly?
Yes — send a RAL number, a Pantone chip or any physical sample. Matching is free, and we post a painted steel swatch for your sign-off before production runs. A custom RAL adds about one week to lead time; the MOQ does not change.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is one 20-ft container (≈20 double-sided bays). Preset schemes ship about 25 days after deposit; a custom RAL adds roughly one week. Trade terms: T/T 30% deposit, balance against B/L copy, FOB Qingdao or Tianjin.
Do you send a team to install it?
No — and that is by design. Everything ships flat-packed and numbered in export cartons, so two people with hand tools can assemble a run over a weekend. Drawings and a video guide are in the box, and we stay on the video call until the last bay rolls.
How does the finish survive shipping and use?
The colour is the steel’s own 60–80 µm powder coat over an 8-stage phosphate bath — no vinyl, no stickers, nothing to peel at the edges. It is rated for 500+ hours of salt spray, and both colours cure together at 180 °C so they wear at the same rate.
What about the frame warranty?
Five years on the complete bay, ten years on the welded frames, and lifetime spare-part supply for the handwheel, chains and shelving clips.
